Tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood of Setagaya, Yuen Bettei Daita offers a stay-style retreat, and is a place where guests rejuvenate both body and mind in hot spring waters brought from Hakone. The open-air spring baths and garden-view indoor baths offer a calming escape from the demands of daily life. The women’s bath features a mist sauna with original aromas, while the men’s bath offers a dry sauna.
For day visitors, we offer curated plans that combine onsen bathing with a meal, spa treatment, or workshop. Experience a slow, mindful time that helps you return to your natural self—enjoy the comfort of a countryside getaway right in the heart of Tokyo. *We do not offer bathing-only options.
Environment
Just 30 seconds from Setagaya-Daita Station and 8 minutes from Shimokitazawa Station. You can enjoy a savor seasonal kaiseki cuisine and carefully selected sake at “Tsukikage“, or enjoy sweets during day-time and crafted cocktails at night at “Saryo Tsukikage.”

Love the ryokan a lot! The room is comfy, the onsen is quite relaxing and there’s a view of some cherry blossom trees, and the food is amazing. The scenery around the ryokan is also very beautiful and tranquil, overall it was a worthwhile and relaxing trip!
