Taiki Toyoshima

I will take you to the remaining natural highlights of Chiba Prefecture and the “last unexplored region” of Okuboso. I will take you to secret spots that do not appear in tourist guidebooks and provide you with the most refreshing and healing experience while enjoying a retreat in the nature. I offer nature guiding as well as team building training for groups. Upon request, I can also arrange for traditional cultural experiences, such as a visit to a local “Living National Treasure” Nobuo Matsubara, a textile artist. Drawing on my many years of experience as a naturopathic therapist, I can help you regain a sense of humanity that is often forgotten in modern society.

Profile

Retreat Producer / Nature Therapist
Growing up in an outdoor-oriented family, my formative experience was watching the awe-inspiring starry sky and shooting stars at Mt. Kasagi in Kyoto. My father’s serious illness sparked my interest in the connection between nature, health, and physicality, leading me to pursue a career as a natural therapist.

Following my work as a thalassotherapy therapist, director of a prefectural park, and operator of a nature school, I now focus on the practice and social implementation of “Japanese Retreat”—an approach that integrates nature, hospitality, and wellness. Based on my hands-on experience in the hospitality industry, I specialize in grounded, nature-based retreat programs that connect with local government, education, and corporate sectors to foster sustainable daily well-being. I am dedicated to creating spaces where people can reconnect with their true selves in nature, while collaborating with accommodation providers nationwide to develop unique retreats that highlight the distinct spirit and character of each local region.

Kameyama Lake is located in the center of Chiba Prefecture, a mountainous area with beautiful water and stars, making it a suitable place for a retreat. For children, I offer an original experience of being in touch with nature, and for adults, I offer tips on how to live close to nature and a special healing holiday.

Review

I joined the group this time and was taken to Sansekisan Kannonji Temple and Tibanian!
Our very funny guide, Midoriman (Taiki), taught us many ways to enjoy nature, and we were able to enjoy nature more than ever before! It was a good experience with lots of healing and learning! Thank you very much!
