    Shoureki-ji offers the luxury temple lodging as your private retreat. Stay in beautifully preserved, 100-year-old Japanese-style rooms adorned with sliding door paintings by renowned artist Ito Keisui. From here, take in the breathtaking views of the river, mountains, and ever-changing seasons.
    During your stay, you are free to telework in the main hall, enjoy tea in the bamboo grove, or relax in your favorite spot. The head priest serves as your personal concierge, curating the perfect experience from a selection of 20 activities, including Zen meditation, sutra copying, and local cultural interactions.
    You’ll also have the chance to reflect on “taking life as it comes” through a unique culinary experience featuring locally raised Shamo. Immerse yourself in history, nature, and mindfulness as you prepare your heart and mind in this serene temple retreat.
